I just purchased and installed a Sync 1 to Sync 3 upgrade from Watson Tech. i cannot say enough about them they answer my questions in a timely manner and have been great to deal with from start to finish. if you are looking to upgrade your Sync these guys are the way to go!

 

Do you have the newer USB PD hub for Sync 2 to 3 upgrade? I read somewhere the APIM is newer too for the USB PD.

Is there any difference between Nav and Non Nav other than just the maps? Performance maybe or extra options?

 

Pretty sure only difference is...no nav. Buddy did Sync 2 with nav to Sync 3 non-nav...I asked him after you posted, he said no difference from what he could tell.

 

I had two transit vans both sync 3 one nav one non the only difference I noticed was wallpaper options.
