Anyone who has interior motion sensors in the upper 2pc mesh.... there is NO alternative of replacing or "moving the sensors" to the new switch panel. They have an incorporated and moulded angled mount that the sensors plug into (see pic).

If you have sensors and NO moonroof... a headliner switch panel is your only choice.

If you have sensors AND a moonroof, unfortunately I have no switch panels that will work with your truck at this time.

Thanks,
Brett

Has anyone tried disconnecting the sensors to see if an error comes up? That could be an option.

Of course you would lose the use of those 2 sensors...

That is indeed another option!
I'm not sure if they are in any type of an electrical "loop". One can try to disconnect or check if they're in a dedicated fuse. Crazy things can happen just by disconnecting them.
(Example: an old ranger I had had interior lights/door ajar showing due to a faulty door switch.... I pulled the fuse & thought: "cool!".... would you believe my Wipers & 4wd switch would not work!)

I don't want anyone to loose a safety feature that Ford designed... but we've done without them for many, many years ...& we still survived!!!....

One could simply pull the console down, pull them out/disconnect.... or better yet: Just move them out of the way up inside the cavity itself....
PLUS you can turn off the motion sensors in dash menu.

So YES!!!! That JUST may work for anyone wanting to not use their sensors!!!

I will simply leave that up to the individual to make that decision
I should be getting these back next week after the new year.

Last note:
I have one lucky member (from Canada that will be getting a complimentary switch panel for his help of final pics and any input to help me add to my instructions of this new design.... so be patient as these will be ready to the public very soon!

Thanks,
Brett

2015-current "Mesh Replacement" switch panels are back from the Anodizer.
These look great!!!!

This switch panel will ONLY work on the 2pc mesh (flat) upper console that is for POWER REAR SLIDER EQUIPPED trucks. (Non power slider trucks have a 1pc and curved and will NOT work- upper headliner mount will work if not moon roof equipped, though!)

IF one has the motion sensors in this upper mesh, it will be up to the individual if they do not prefer the sensors, and it's up to them if they want to disconnect and move them out of the way up inside the upper console cavity.

What's nice: you can put back to stock!!!!

There is some modification required for this switch panel to fit, and though some trimming is required, you CAN put your mesh back in if you ever trade your truck in at a later time!!!

You can leave it plain with NO laser logo.... or you can choose a FREE Laser logo of your choice!
......Again: logos are patented & copyrighted and there is NO charge!!!....Absolutely NO charge for this free service!! It is simply a Gift and there is NO monetary exchange for these logos!!!!

Any questions, please feel free to email me directly at: lethalweapon09@yahoo.com

Here are the minor modifications necessary for these switch panels to fit:

Again the requirements:
-Must have 2pc mesh (rear power slider equipped)
-if you have sensors, it is up to the user to disconnect & move them up & out of the way in the upper console cavity. (It is up to the owner to make that decision of this Ford equipped safety feature of these sensors to do this).

-if you do NOT have a rear power slider, this will not work on your truck! But the "headliner mount" version will work as long as no moonroof.

What about just a cover plate without any switches? Can something like that be available? The mesh looks like crap.

It's is definitely possible..... but I would have to have the machine shop make them, and send them out to get anodized. on my next order from them, I will get a few made. Cost would be the same on ANY switch panel by itself and any logo you would want (if any) is still free.
Please email me.

Thanks,
Brett

Is 4 the minimum number of switches you can do? Would you do (or are you thinking) 2 switches??

Yes, 4 is the minimum (and also the maximum).
I tried to add more than 4 but the center plug for the power slider does not allow the clearance of the switches & terminals.

And we mocked up a 2 switch panel, and actually looked "odd & out of place"... like something was missing.

You can always add on later if you're only currently running 1 or 2 lighting or accessories...the wiring will be right there when you ever do need it.

Thanks,
Brett
