As for visiting this site only to sell, that's better than turning it into a drama filled chat room like you two have clearly turned it into. Get a life. It isn't like I tried to rip someone off. I simply underestimated shipping and couldn't afford to cover the additional cost for what I had asked for shipping. Glad you guys have the class and simple understanding of such a thing. Danlong- stop crying simply cause you didn't have the $$ to cover additional shipping and now you've gotta run your ugly chrome grill from the 90s. I've sold a few things on here and others can contest, there hasn't been any issues. And because your personal life, looks just like your bickering on the forum, you bring that here over me misquoting a shipping cost hahaha. What are we in high school? Good class bud
Your responses just illustrated my thoughts on your character and attitude better than my initial post did, thanks for showing everyone that so there's no question.

I never said you tried to rip me off, only that you weren't willing to keep your end of our deal and wanted to renegotiate after you realized that YOU had made a mistake. When I didn't want to renegotiate, you assaulted my character and now are throwing out childish insults to which you have no basis whatsoever. Once our deal went south I purchased a new Platinum grille for $350 from another member, so funds are definitely not an issue, and there's no "90's chrome grille" on my truck... The only reason I need a new grille anyway is because I'm adding the OEM 360 camera system.

Don't care much about your truck or platinum grill haha. Again, I was way off on shipping cost otherwise I would have kept "our deal". Be the slight bit realistic about it. I was quite a bit off on shipping, not just a little. And you just expected no matter what that I pay the additional cost since it was, "the deal" we made. This is a forum not your local parts store. Either way, it's not that big of a deal. I made a mistake, you got refunded. Move on dude. You didn't need to make this post in all actuality. But if you feel better about it then I'm glad. It's just a $150 grill and it was just a simple mistake. Next time be a little more understanding and not so set that this is a contract of some kind because I said $25 for shipping would be enough and made that mistake. And next time I'll be more accurate in my shipping quote. First for everything and I was off quite a bit

Last post, them I'm done with this... You added $25 for shipping on top of a full price sale and then got a quote of $54 from USPS, that's not that far off and well within reason to just man up and eat it. Don't act like it was way more. And you brought up my truck and finances, so I was just setting the record straight.

On a similar note, I bought a set of mirrors from another member last week. We agreed on a shipped price and he had estimated $50 for shipping, but it wound up costing him $130. He didn't ask for more money or cancel the deal, he just shipped them and accepted his mistake.

As for my need to post about this, the grille falling through really wasn't a big deal at all and as I said, I'm actually happier this way. The reason I felt the need to post was because after you offered to refund, and I told you to go ahead with the refund, you then felt the need to throw in some petty insults and try to make me feel to blame for YOUR screw up and the time you spent running around instead of just checking prices online. Had you just said okay and refunded it, I would have happily forgot this ever happened. You made this into a bigger deal, and I'm just leaving feedback for others to know who they're dealing with.

Would you consider shipping to Canada?
