What year truck did they come out of? As I understand it, 15 lights only work on a 15 and not a 16+.

You were probably thinking about the difference in the housings.... the 2015 had serviceable LEDs, meaning you could open the back & replace just the LED then in 2016 they made the units sealed thus they are now non serviceable. These appear to be 2016 versions since the rear of the housing cannot be opened - but they will work in 2015 - 2017 trucks
