Wheel Lug Nuts?
Just wondering if anyone has changed their OEM lug nuts to anything different?
My OEM ones are a chrome sleeve pressed on over the steel nut. They are a real pain in the **** to remove and re-torque properly as the chrome sleeve will actually move on the steel nut, making it difficult to get the socket on and off the nut.
Anyone have this issue or have any recommendations? Makes rotating the tires not a fun job........
thanks.

GM, reviving an old thread for help.
I have 2014 SCREW with stock 20s. Son mentioned I had a "loose" lug while he washed truck. I went to check and tighten if needed and couldnt get wrench from OEM kit on to the lug. Im like WTH, cant change a tire if I wanted too with supplied tool. Is this a common issue with the OEM lugs? I see they have that "sleeve" mentioned above (which I assume gives that "loose" feeling since they were tight). Sleeves look pretty beat up too from shop power tools.
Whats the best solution, new lugs or new deeper lug wrench? I was able to check them using a breaker bar and socket but socket had a bit of loose feeling itself.
Thx.

I called Gorilla, support told me to stay away from the lesser multi splined ones. They gave me the number and I ordered from a company on ebay, cjppautomotive, I believe. Right around 100 bucks.
Gorilla 61108CXL F-150 Lug Nut Kit Bulge Chrome 2009-14/Raptor 10-14
No I do not use or like the locks.

That place on Ebay is CJ Pony Parts. A reputable place that I've bought plenty of mustang parts from. https://www.cjponyparts.com/
The name I listed, is on eBay and where I purchased mine. But like you, have seen many buy from the person you listed.
