Recently I have finally gotten my truck to start normally...the fuel pressure regular had gone bad. Now that it will start normally I have noticed it doesn't turn over really quick like it used to. And once it does start it takes a second for the high idle to kick in. It's like the truck has to charge up or something.

I just changed the fuel filter and put a new battery in. I also changed the plug wires 3 months ago and plugs 2 years ago but the plugs looked good when I changed the wires.
