Default Vibration from drive shaft only when stopped

2008 F150 Fx2, 5.4l, about 94,000 miles.

I've looked around and see a lot of posts about driveshaft vibration at different speeds, however I have a very loud vibration noise only when completely stopped, such as at a red light, while the truck is in gear. If it is in park, it's fine and there is no noise. If I put the truck in neutral at the light, the sound goes away. When I put it back in drive, it almost immediately comes back.

Does anyone know the specific problem and/or solution? Thanks for your help.

Well, the drive shaft is not turning when you are stopped. Probably the exhaust pipe banging on the bottom of your ride.

What would make the sound go away when input it in neutral then? if it was my muffler, wouldn't the vibration be contstant regardless if it's in park, nuetral, or sitting idle?

When you put in neutral the idle changes, in drive, there is a load on the engine. Looks for loose exhaust shields.

^ this. Under load the harmonics and vibrations can change in odd ways that can cause heat shields, rock shields on your brakes, and just about any other metal that is free standing or loose to vibrate and make noise.
