lately I have been having some starter issues, so I finally got around to replacing it. I go to test out my work and it starts right up... but I now have a very annoying rattle. After looking (and listening) around I think that this noise is coming from betwen the motor and trans. so I took out the starter and put it back in 2 more times...still rattling. The last time i had it out i got a pretty goood look in there with a mirror and everthing looked normal... So i guess my question is what do i do now? I cant think of anything else to do short of droping the trans. I really dont want to do all that work for something so simple but I feel like I dont have many options. Please let me know if anyone has any insight or has had a smiliar problem or something. Thanks in advance!
