Transmission Cooler Leak?
I have a 2006 F150 5.4 auto with 115,000.
This weekend when driving it started to get smell in cab, kind of like an air conditioning leak. When got out to look found liquid dripping next to the transmission (passengers side). The liquid was semi-clear with a bit of an oily fee. Once we got home and the truck cooled, noticed that the coolant level is significantly down.
I am wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the problem or if someone has experienced it before?
