Tire Shop destroyed my wheels, do I have to get them cut off?

Probably the infamous swollen lug nut issue. Be sure and put upgraded lug nuts on your new wheels. Absolutely not go with the original equipment ones although I think Motorcraft has some new ones that don't have this issue.

Zip cut the back of the stud off and push it through the spindle. Then find another tire shop...lmfao! Fck how utterly stupid! Its a sign of the times!

Drilling out
Every shop said it’s beyond drilling out. I also tried to drill it out myself with no success. I went and spent $180 on drill and cobalt drill bits, cobalt metal not kobalt brand. They are the hardest drill bits they make and it barely would do anything to the studs. Apparently the studs that Ford used for a few years were super hard.

Clearly the shop is at fault for not know what they're doing & tearing up so much of your truck. But you have to accept some responsibility for taking it to them. There's a reason cheap shops are cheap, and high-priced shops charge more. If the staff doesn't speak a language you speak & understand, you can't communicate with them effectively. Either learn their language, or do business with people who speak yours.
I wouldn't trust that truck again until the lug nuts, wheel, & hub assembly were replaced.
