Hey guys! Just bought a 2013 F150 FX4 3.5L and am having a problem with my touch screen system. When you turn on certain things like cooled seats or adjust the volume a screeching noise plays through the speakers that cant be shut off. Only can you turn the volume down to silence it. Sometimes when you really **** it off it makes a very loud continuous beeping sound, that cannot be silenced unless the truck is shut off and you open the door. Any help would be greatly appreciated! First thing I would do is disconnect the negative battery terminal for 10 mins to get it to stop (hopefully). Then download the latest update from Ford Owner and update the truck.

Just a guess, no idea if it'll help.

 

Thanks for the response! Just wanted to post an update just in case someone else runs into the same problem. Took it back to the dealer and they replaced the ACM and the factory sony amplifier that is under the center console and that has fixed the issue. Not sure though which one was the actual problem.
