Years ago, I knew a guy who had an older Thunderbird equipped with chrome plastic wheel covers with realistic looking exposed lug nuts.
He went in for a set of tires and the kid with the impact wrench proceeded to twist off every plastic nut on all 4 wheels before realizing that they were ornamental parts of the wheel covers. Needless to say, the shop had to buy a new set of wheel covers.
