Spark plug removal issue

When exactly did they change the plug design? I have a 2009 4.6 3v. I have heard the horror stories and I about to change mine.

Correct me anybody if im wrong but i believe they corrected the issue after 08

The new design heads and plugs came out on motors built after 10/07 this is 5.4 3V

Omg all I can do is prey mine were done as I want to do mine this week also, and I'm worried......

2007 5.4 but maybe last owner has replaced them once before....
