Im no EB expert but, my gut and knowledge tells me its a head gasket or a coolant leak in or around one of the turbos. I don't know a lot about how and where the coolant lines are routed through the engine and turbos tho.

just my 2 cent opinion.
Thanks for your opinion! I appreciate it.

They took it to ford (which we don’t have many respected dealers in this area) and they simply said, replace the engine and the turbos were fine..... that was before the GMC dealer located a bad turbo. So I don’t put faith in the Ford dealer. They were looking for the simple solution which is replace the entire thing.

I think a coolant leak around a turbo sounds like a very plausible idea.

Look at the color of the coolant in the recovery tank and notice the amber stain in the bottle around where the small hose connects. I think you have oil in the coolant, which would indicate a head gasket or a cracked head.

I agree. However, engine temps are running perfect.
Im hoping that the oil in their is from the first thing they fixed:

Broken PCV valve that was leaking oil everywhere. So far they have:
Replaced PCV Valve
Replaced Turbo

Since those things were changed, NOOOOOOOo check engine lights, and just that little white smoke (that didn't smell sweat) after it idled for a while.

I just got off the phone and told them to do a compression test. He has to get back with the tech who originally worked on it, but he thinks they already did one. (we shall see).

Thanks for the continued input guys.

Dear mother of shi*. They are replacing the other turbo on Tuesday. I mean.... I’m fine with that..... but I don’t think they are realizing that the chance of both turbos going bad are slim to none.... there has to be another main problem (cough cough cylinder heads etc.)

If they give me the truck back in the next week.... I’m going to take it to MY guy and have him run a compression check. I’ve asked them to do that about 100 timEs and they haven’t yet.

I’ve been super calm and they have told me multiple times that they are very appreciative of how insanely reasonable I have been. I purchased the truck 50 days ago and have only had it in my possession for about 14. I’m about 7 days away from flipping tables and throwing staplers. Lol.

Ohhhh well.
