Sluggish driving and bouncing RPm
I'm driving a 2000 F150 4.6 v8, couple of days ago I noticed that the truck felt really sluggish while driving and it was rough idling.
Then this morning the check engine light was on and I noticed while in park and any other gear the RPM would bounce up a little and you can hear the truck engine rev up and correspond to the tachometer.
This has happened once before about two months ago and the problem just seemed to go away but this time it seems to have lasted longer.
I also noticed that I've been adding oil more then usual recently but not sure if that relates to my problem.
Not sure what the problem is obviously and any advice is greatly appreciated.
