Default shifting problem?

my truck, 97 150, only had 1st and 2nd for a while. then it only had 1st. but it wasnt even fully first. it felt like half first half neutral. it could barely move. i parked it and didnt drive it for like a month. took it for a drive today and i got 1st and 2nd again. a couple hours before this all happened my check engine light came on and it said bank 1 and bank 2 are running lean. would that have anything to do with it? when im drivin in 2nd if i let off its like it goes into neutral. the rpms go to the 1000 and i just coast. what would this be? (to be honest i was going through quite a bit of water when this happened) wierd how it kinda fixed itself somewhat thoguh? what do you think? thanks

Default Maybe This, Maybe Not:

The trouble may be related to a leaky 2-3 accumulator piston seal. TSB 99-9-6 and 99-18-5 were released dealing with delayed or no 2-3 shift in the 4R70W tranny one of which you may have.
A scan of the system might show error code no. P0782 as well.
A faulty shift solenoid could also be the culprit. In addition, pull the harness connectors at the tranny and make sure everything is clean.
