Default RPM Drops below 500 when down shifting

I looked and couldn't find this on here. (I'm sure it is)

1994 F150 302 5 speed trans.

here's the issue. When I downshift (say when coming to a stop) the rpm drops below the idle spot (sometimes dropping low enough to almost stall (200-300 rpm) then it recovers back up and idles good.

From what I can see, people are saying the TPS or MAP sensor....

Any ideas??

Clean your MAP sensor and the throttle body.

Ok, I'll give that a try. Appreciate it!
