Default Replacing Lower Radiator Hose - ‘05 F-150 5.4L

Hi

I am trying to replace both the upper and lower radiator hoses on my ‘05 F150 5.4L. I obviously can see the upper hose, but I am trying to figure out how to get to the lower hose. I can’t see where the lower hose connects to the motor.

I am am not a mechanic - but I am known to enjoy a nice IPA and tinker (I’ve replaced radiators on other cars before).

I think I would need to either put the truck on a lift or maybe remove inner wheel well cover - i don’t know - so any advice (with pictures if possible) would be very much appreciated.

thanks

Default

the lower hose goes from the radiator, connects to the engine just above the oil filter, and tee's off to the coolant tank.
