Torque Wrench
Not sure if this is the right place for this, but if not the mods can move it. Anyone got any reccomendations for a good low cost torque wrench? I need one and will be ordering it online. Cannot find one here in this lil rinky dink town. Does Armstrong make good ones? Trying to buy it from Handsontools.com along w/ a code reader for my OBD1 engine, and a timing light.

Low cost and torque wrench shouldn't even be in the same state together. My snap-on cost me a little over $300 and it gets recalibrated every 6 months!
But for real, anything from craftsman will do perfectly fine for your needs.

I wouldn't dis on craftsman torque wrenches. Yes snap on is designed for the every day mechanic but the craftsman is certified and caries a warranty also. The new digital craftsman torque wrench I bought yesterday was also over 200.
They are not cheap but its not worth the risk going cheap either

I just want one to use mainly on my spark plugs. Im always concerned as to whether they are too tight or not tight enough. May be stupid to others, but I do not care. It is my truck and I do not want to damage the block.
Anyone have any experiance with Armstrong Tools?

I know a guy that sells a digital Gearwrench Torque wrenches for cheap. I bought the 3/8 and the 1/2 from him. Both were brand new in box. I love them!!! And by cheap, I mean each was under $125.00 shipped
