Default Plastic headlight issue

Hey guys quick question.

So my headlights are peeling, yes literally the plastic is coming off like dandruff. This peeling is all over it. I've washed it many times and no luck. Idk what to do about it. A small portion of the headlight is that dreadful yellow fog you see when the UV rays beat it up.
Question is how do I fix the peeling and yellow fog without breaking the bank? Truck has got 95,000 miles on it and it's in Texas so I'm sure this is all the suns fault.

Thanks!

Need more info on your truck, year, trim package etc.
If the plastic had deteriorated so badly that it's peeling away, they probably can't be saved. Time to replace. There are many different options available, depending on what generation your truck is.

My truck is a 2011 F150 Supercrew XLT with a 3.5L Ecoboost and a 5.5ft bed. 95,000 miles with chrome trim and black paint.

It's that dam Egoboost!!! I know it is!!
Seriously, if they're that bad, new ones are needed. Lots of options, and not all are big bucks.

Got my replacements off Amazon for cheap. Went black instead of chrome. No leaks, no problems at all.

Once they get to that point, you can sand them, polish them, gloss them as much as you want but it'll always get bad again quick. Only way to fix them is buy new ones. You might be able to score a decent deal on ebay, if you stick to US only, very popular, highly reviewed vendors. I scored some beautiful smoked Cobra style headlights for my Mustang for $60.
