p0171 and p0174

Exclamation p0171 and p0174

Recently I received those two codes at the same time, the lady at autozone said it was usually coupled with performance loss or something that would negatively effect my truck. Well I haven't noticed any change in the way my truck performs. No loss in power climbing hills or passing people. I am going to clean the MAF friday. Any ideas as to what it may be? Also, I filled up on gas about 20 minutes before the light came on, would bad gas be a factor? I am a college kid so cheap fixes would be appreciated!!

My Truck:
2003 F150 5.4L triton V8 2WD Lariat Supercrew. It has 123,xxx miles. Anything else y'all might need to know?

I would buy some MAF cleaner from the lady that pulled your codes...and give your MAF a good cleaning...disconnect your batt prior to your cleaning and when your done re-connect...go from there

Could be too much Ethonal in the fuel. Just fixed an EcoBoost that had to much in it.

So sorry for late reply, but it turned out to be the vacuum hoses. I went to City garage and they fixed me up for under $150 dollars. Told them I was a broke college kid
