I am working on a 95 Ford F150 5.8l two wheel drive automatic, the O.D. light started flashing, the abs light came on, the speedometer stopped working and it shifts hard (all of this happened all at once). I hooked it to a code reader and it gave me the vss code, I changed the vss on the rear axle of the truck but it didn't fix any of the problems. What else could the problem be?

 

Anybody have any ideas? I need some info by Friday, that's when I will be working on it again.

 

I assume you already got this checked out, or figured out by now?
Was it the #23 fuse, under the hood?

 

all of the fuses were good in the truck. I wound up finding the problem, one of the wires to the connection that hooks into the vss was cut, I spliced it back together and everything worked fine after that. I hope you can figure out what is wrong with the truck you are working on.
