Default My 07' still shudders after COP and plug replacement

Just changed all 8 COP's and plugs. Used Accel COP's and the new SP515 motorcraft plugs. Under light acceleration it still shudders, but not as much as before. Is one of my new COP's or plugs misfiring already or is something else causing the shudder?

Does it feel like you're driving over a cattle guard? Does it happen under light accel 40-50ish mph? Sounds like torque converter shudder. How many miles on the truck? Have you serviced the trans?

Yeah it feels like I drove over a rumble strip. And only under light accelleration. It has 110,000 on it and I haven't serviced the trans myself. Idk if it's ever been serviced. I've been driving it since 102,000 miles.

Yeah, a pan drop with filter replacement (pan gasket is reusable). You'll need Mecon V (IIRC 7-8 quarts) fluid and it wouldn't hurt to add a good conditioner while you're at it (Lunas, etc). Unfortunately the 4R70/5E doesn't have a converter drain plug which means even with a pan drop, you'll still have approx. 6-7 quarts of old fluid still in it. However, most shops will have a trans flush/transfusion machine that will flush the complete system which is the preferred method but is a little more $$.
