Default Motor Swap Info

Greetings everyone! I have a '97 F150 XLT 4X4 with the 4.6L Vin W, it currently has cracked heads, but it's not making oil. It's pumping exhaust gas into the heater core and creating an air bubble, so I have no heat. There are only 148k miles on it, and I'm looking at swapping it out for an '04 4.6L Vin W and I found out that the '04 has the individual coils on the plug, whereas mine has the coils on the front of the heads with plug wires.

Can I just swap my coils to the '04 so I don't have to do a computer swap too, or do I need to get an '04 computer to make this work?

btw: I got a SUPER deal, '04 4.6/tranny/transfer with 85k miles (verified)

Thanks in advance for the help

Just use your coils.
