Length of Dipstick for 4.2 L?
I just brought my 1999 4.2 L F150 XL home to Honduras and somebody in Customs stole my Dipstick. I haven't found one available in Honduras but I am checking Junk yards. Until I find one I would like to know the length and also the distance from the bottom to the High mark. I figure I can use a Bass Guitar string until I find a replacement. Never before thought of that as a use for old strings. Also, I've already heard the jokes about measuring my dipstick.
