Default Idler Arm on 2001 King Ranch 4x4 5.4L

Every site I go to that sells them has both a 2.48" bolt pattern Idler Arm and a 3.43" bolt pattern and both say they fit my vehicle type. How do I know which one I have?

Just throwing out an opinion. They must be talking about the bolts securing the idler arm bracket to the frame. Measure the distance between those two bolts and buy the one that suits your measurement.

Check the info from this site that I buy from all the time [ looks like your vin number will dictate which one] : http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/se...7260+1616+5950

Sadly, it shows my vin number under both parts. 2001: 8Cyl 5.4L "Gas, FI, VIN "L" King Ranch

Guess I'll go measure it myself. Yes I realize I'm lazy but my truck wasn't near me when I was looking to buy the part.

Thanks for the help guys..

Default Update...

For anyone that cares or for future reference, I crawled under there and measured and it is the 2.48" spacing. I'm curious which models use the 3.5"
