Question How much does an oil change cost?

How much does your Ford dealership charge for an oil change?

I received quotes for $62+/- at one and $52+/- at another?

Ford has a "Works" package that includes oil change, tire rotation, checks of fluids, etc. $39.95 sometimes with a $10 rebate. You will pay for oil over 5 quarts. You may also pay a shop fee. Check your dealer's website.

Here in Hudson WI (I'm from MN, but very close) their "Works" package is $39.99 all the time. After taxes and fees, about $44.

Inver Grove Ford in MN is a complete ripoff unless you like paying fake fees though.

I think I paid $68 an oil change and tire rotation at a Ford Quickie Lube. They charged me also for 3 additional quarts of oil.

Take my own Motorcraft oil and filter (Walmart cheap) and my very good independent shop charges about $30 labor. And they are good - check everything pretty good. And never recommend service that isn't needed. A big deal for me after the last years of dealer service upselling. Usually in and out in less than an hour too.
