How many o2 sensors on my truck?

Hey guys, I have 00 f150 with the 4.6. How many o2 sensors are in my truck? I can find 3.

4. There is one on each side between the exhaust manifold and the cats and there is one on each side after the cats.

The fronts two are what is used to adjust fueling. The rear two are only there to tell the computer that the cats are there. If replacing them only do front.

Ive replaced the front two. Ive still got a code for the sensors though.

Ive only had the computer run at Advance auto. I got a buddy coming over tomorrow with his so I can look up the codes to see exactly whats wrong.

Im not sure. The guys at Advance just say what they think, then unplug. Ill find the exact code tomorrow.

It's always a good idea to research all your codes and the possible reasons why. You can spend hundreds even thousands of dollars throwing parts at a problem and never resolve it. Once you have the codes post them and we can help find you a solution.

Always get the exact codes and write them down, don't depend on what the parts store person thinks it is.

Couldn't agree more. Had a customer of mine. He changed hes 02 sensors twice, plugs, MAF sensor, injectors and a few other things cause of the parts store. Ended up being the intake gaskets causing the lean issue.

Again. My friend went to look at it and just wrote down the problems. Not the codes. Its saying o2 sensor bank 2 and heater for the sensor.
