HELP! Engine turning over then stalling out!
98 F150, Engine turning over then stalling out.
I have had this happen a few times in the past, but it was so random it really didnt cause me a hassle. It has only happened 2 other times, the last time I could not get it to stay going, the second I took my foot off the gas, it died out.
So I had it towed to the ford dealership by AAA. They kept it overnight and decided to look at it the next day, hook it up to a computer etc. Well they said the moment they stepped into the truck and turned the key that it started right up no problem and they let it run for a couple hours and ran the tests and said everything looked normal and they had no idea what the problem is.
Here is the thing, this is now like 6 months later and now my truck is in my job's parking lot because I cannot get it started. Same problem, the engine turns over when i turn the key, however directly after stalls out. What the hell is going on here? I hope this is not an expensive problem, money is tight.
Could it be sparkplugs? I got charged over 120$ by the dealership last time to have them hook it up to a computer and try and find whats wrong with it but they didnt find a thing wrong. Yet I still had to pay them. HELP!
