Default 2003 5.4L quits right after replacing CHT & Belt

Just replaced the serpentine belt and cylinder head thermostat censor (which was a real pain btw) and my truck starts but turns off right away. If i keep the RPMs up it will run. I did not disconnect the negative on the battery or the alternator cords when I removed the alternator which I think is the issue or maybe I didn't reassemble the intake correctly from what I've been reading? Any advise will help! Thanks everyone!

Yup, it was the IAC. The hose that connects to the IAC valve got disconnected. Super, super easy fix, but many hours of head scratching. I'm not much of a mechanic but prefer to fix stuff myself and appreciate the help!
