Groaning sound 2015 f150 fx4
For about a month I have heard a moaning/groaning sound coming from front drivers side of truck. It vibrates my pedals and steering wheel when happens. It does it on and off and it’s hard to duplicate at times. Dealer has changed check valve and put in new transfer case motor, throttle body and swears IWEs are fine. It makes the noise when I brake, when I accelerate and when I put in 4 wheel drive. Dealer has no idea and has had truck for over a week.
It almost sounds like a baritone is playing when it happens. Anyone have any ideas that could help me? Truck is a 2015 f150 fx4 with 50k miles.
Listen to video in first 5-7 seconds it sounds like someone blowing in a plastic tube (best description I can think of).

Did you ever find out what was creating the groaning sound? My 2016 King Ranch has the same exact sound/issue. Had taken to dealer several times, but they say they can't find anything. Although when considering a trade on a 2021 at different dealer, they ask if truck had that issue

Had my 2016 king ranch truck inspected (pa state) this friday and its amazing dealer finnaly admited there was a problem. There is a service bulletin to replace the iwes. Good news is they figured it out, if it wasn't for an extended warrenty it would be out of pocket. Apparently this is an exspencive repair. They also are going to finnaly replace the power brake booster under the recall. Ford is really slipping, in my opinion. I ordered a 2021 and its now 12 weeks and no vin#.
