Ford Dealer using Mobil-1? I bet headquarters would be on them like white on rice if they did that. Oil change hobbyists are down on Mobil one at the moment by the way, if you read the 'Bob is the oil guy' web site. Probably with some justification.

Conoco Phillips makes Motocraft oils to Ford Specs. There are probably other manufactures too.

Fram ultra and tough guard are good filters. No one here mentioned that Motorcraft oil filter that fit certain Ford engines the filter element would tear. The Fram lower level filter is so/so but the ultra and tough gaurd are well built and have synthetic double layer filter element.
