Question Parking Brake

Used my parking brake for the first time today and when I after i released and started driving down the road I got a huge vibration. Guessing the brake didn't completely release, I engaged/disengaged again but still had the same result. I was only a couple of miles from home so I have it in the driveway now and trying to figure out what to do once the sun comes back up tomorrow. The rear driver assembly had gotten pretty hot and you could smell it plainly on that wheel only.

Any ideas?

I'd lube up the cable for theparking brake real good, and acctuate and release it a few times.. see if that helps.. and if not, remove the rear wheel and check out if its stuck...

I have the same problem with my truck, except that I always use it since my driveway is on an incline.Mine would start to vibrate really bad just after pulling away so I would pull over for a few seconds and drive off again and it wouldnt do it untill I used the parking brake again. For now I just stopped using it till I have some time to take it it.
