Default Electrical issue 92 XLT

Last Monday while leaving for work I put my 92’ in reverse gear backed out a foot, when my truck died.
THIS part is not the problem.. The problem
was that I was not able to RESTART the truck.

So no truck restart and I did notice that very distinct burned plastic, rubber smell along with some minor smoke in the cabin right where I was sitting driver side.

I’m thinking electrical, some wires meted. Fuses are all ok.

any suggestions?

glad to Jena part of this board.

thanks!

The truck should run about the same at any temperature - it was CARBURETORS that needed to warm up; not EFI.

Follow the smoke, and post pics of whatever you find. Click this & read the caption:

@Steve83 thank you and I have a lot to learn with the truck I bought for a “bargain” . I’m used to old motorcycles and. Have gone most of my life as a road bike commuter. I’m learning though.

I will keep you informed on my progress. You
