Default Drive Shaft Maintenance Moron Moment

Guys,

Had work on my 2012 Lariat SCREW 4X4 drive shaft done. When the truck was lowered the jack stand supporting the drive shaft while work was being done was not removed. Drive shaft bent, jack stand bent, truck lifted off of the truck lift but didn't fall to the ground.

The drive shaft is being replaced, what else should I check before signing off on the repairs being complete?

I'm thinking that I should look at what the drive shaft is connected to (transmission and rear end). Anything else?

I'm not stating where this happened because they're working the issue and seem to be concerned with making it right. I'm asking because I'm ignorant of the things I need to look for.

Keep an eye for leaks, pinion seal may have taken a beating.

is it 4x4 or 2wd, regardless I wouldn't worry too much about the pinion, but more
so the extension housing of the transmission or transfer case. and as stated drive
on the expressway for vibration.

Thanks Guys,

I'll drive it on the highway and keep some white pads under it to check for a new leak as well.

Appreciate the replies and sharing your knowledge.

Got the truck back in 36 hours...replaced drive shaft and assembly. Had them inspect the transmission and rear end as well. So far, so good. The dealership also did a complete brake job on the truck and an alignment for free.

Appreciate the advice here guys.
