Default Coolant tank leak and heater hose leak

I have a 2014 F150 3.5 Ecoboost with 86K miles. Yesterday I noticed a coolant leak from the drivers side of the engine. Checked the coolant tank and it was nearly empty. I decided to take it to a nearby dealer even tho I am out of warranty. I was thinking it might be the coolant leak from the line that goes to one of the turbos. Just got a call from the dealer and was told that both the coolant tank and a heater hose are leaking - no further description on the hose right now. $489 in parts with a $1044.00 grand total!

Doing some searching it seems that there is an issue with coolant leaks from many different places, including the coolant tanks. I don't really have the time or knowledge to do the repair myself or take it to my regular mechanic to save a little $$. It also seems like this will likely happen again in the future. Does anyone make an aftermarket coolant tank that won't crack? I do like my truck and this is the first issue that I have had since buying it new in 2014.

I will post the part numbers when I get the invoice from the dealer.

This is common, its usually a combo of the tank and the o rings at the y adapter. There is a kit by pegasus. I will find some links.

Do I have to go to ford for the orange coolant? Or can I get it at NAPA, etc.?

The proper coolant from Napa will be fine.
