Default 2012 3.5 ecoboost over heating

Hey guys I have a 2012 eco that's running hotter than normal for the last few months. I see temperatures on the smallest of hills of 220+ . I've replaced both water pumps, timing chain, spark plugs, serpentine belt, air filter and t stat. None of these things have fixed the problem. Anyone have a similar issue and have any ideas where to go from here?

Nice truck. Turbos are hot and it sounds like they are kicking in on the hills. I've had a vacuum leak cause that too. Quit replacing parts and take her in..

It's been to the mechanic a few times now and those parts other then the timing chain were recommended by the mechanic. I took it to the dealer to do the timing chain but I never really mentioned the getting hot problem in hopes that changing the second water pump would solve the issue. Might end up being a problem best left for the dealer but trying not to spend a crazy amount more money on it.

Sounds like the mechanic is firing the parts cannon at it hoping something will work. Take it to a qualified mechanic that will take the time to diagnose the problem.

The powder for that parts cannon can get expensive real quick.

So apparently the dealer has fixed the problem. It was a plugged cat. I pick it up tomorrow to see for myself. Hopefully it's good to go.
