Catalytic converters replacement cost
 

2003 F150 6cyl 148 thousand miles
, I fell victim to thieves and need to replace my catalytic converters.
Can someone please tell me the approximate cost for this repair. Thanks in advance,

I bought Catalytic Converter-Direct Fit Left Eastern Mfg fits 06-08 Ford F-150 4.6L-V8 was ordered from e-bay $162 about 4 years ago. This was a cheapo but it is still working fine.
If you do the work yourself you can probably replace them both for about $600, this is a guess.

Your best bet is to call various shops in your area if you don't plan on doing it yourself.

Thanks, I have a friend to do the job, thank God. I didn't want to spend a small fortune for the parts if there were less expensive options. I don't use the truck every day, mostly for hauling short distances and just short drives to keep it running.

In that case you rarely use it. Just straight pipe it.
