Broken Bleeder
So went to bleed my rear brakes today and both sides the bleeder screw snapped flush with the caliper. questions i have is it ok to drive like this for awhile? (no leaking at bleeder). Any ideas on how to remove the broken screw as i really dont have the extra cash right now to replace the calipers.
Thanks |
Yes you can drive it as long as your brakes are good.

O.K. to drive so long as no leak. Try an EzOut to remove the bleeder screws.
|
Drive it until next pad and or rotor change replace the calipers.

no leaks but brakes are spongy so thinking air in the system. any other ways to bleed it?

Remove your bleed screw(s) with an EzOut and bleed as normal. Pressure bleed is best.

I have used an EZout to successfully remove broken bleeders.
