Default Brakes grinding on rotor when turn right

So I have already taken the truck into ford for this before and they tried to tell me that there was nothing wrong with it and that a rock must been a rock stuck. I told him there’s no way because otherwise it would not be grooved front and back on the rotor from top to bottom. Asked him to go look himself. (Mind u, I had already taken the tire off before taking it in n KNOW there was NO brake pads left on that side. I didn’t even want to take em off out of fear that they would just crumble and vehicle wouldn’t be moved again until could replace them.) When I got the truck back it had brand new brake pads on it which they didn’t even put on my paperwork, and still grinds when I turn right not every time but a lot of the time. And no it does not do it on the passenger side at all. Wondering what this could be... please

it kind of sounds to me like something such as a rock got caught in the brakes at one time and damaged something like the caliper. is there any damage to the caliper?

Does it do it when you turn and press the brake pedal or do not press the brake pedal?

I had a very similar problem on my Ranger, it would only do it when turning at first, it was a grinding noise, it turned out to be the wheel bearing, I lifted the car to inspect and I found a lot of play at the bearing, replaced it and the issue was resolved, my problem had nothing to do with break pads but it would make noise sometimes when breaking since the bearing was so loose...

It is a very easy check, just lift the truck, put it on a jack stand and move the wheel up and down, it should be zero play....
