bought my first old used truck
Hey so i bought a 1990 f150 single cab long bed truck used and im concerned about the gas mileage im gettting. So i put 20 bucks into the tank and drove about 60 km mostly on the highway and it used the entire 20 bucks for that 60km the needle was in the same place it was before i put the gas in the tank. also the 20 bucks filled the tank half way.Is there an issue?? or is this typical of trucks?

To calculate the gas mileage you will need to fill the tank, drive then refill the tank. Miles driven/fuel used = mpg or km/ liter. Once you know that we can help you know if it’s normal. Also, are there mods to the truck, lifted, large tires, etc.
