Then that's where the dogs belong. If you don't want them in the weather, buy a camper shell or dog box. But vehicle interiors are NOT designed or intended for loose animals, and nothing you can buy to put inside your pickup cab will make it "dog-proof".

I got a seat cover for the rear seat like this: https://www.orvis.com/p/grip-tight-q...protector/2ecn
It stays in place, it's easy to brush or vacuum out, and I can throw it in the washer once in a while. I got a Weathertech mat for the back seat floor, too, so it's quick to sweep out.
My dog always stays in back for some reason, so I've got no protection in the front. I can leave the truck with groceries in the front seat and she won't mess with them.

What size orvis cover do you have for the f150 backseat? XL?
Is the material really soft?
I currently have a 4knines brand and while it fits good my mastiff hates the rough canvas rayon type material. He panted and tossed and turned for 8 hours on family vacation drive. Put a soft blanket down on a whim and all I heard for hours was snoring. He is a really gentile soul. I need soft material. He loves his orvis bed and it wears like iron.
He sheds like a beast too, I uses the leaf blower before vacuuming and a cloud of fur blows out every time after he’s been cruising.

A cheaper option. Mine only rides occasionally (once a month), and this isn't super quilted or anything, but this works to keep the seat clean. 30 second setup, and folds small so I can put it under the seat when not in use.
