Adding circuits to battery junction box

Adding circuits to battery junction box
2017 F150 Super Crew 3.5 EB
I want to add a fuse for my 7 way trailer tow plug for the trailer battery charging wire.
My truck doesn't have the trailer module or the pins in the battery junction box for the required fuse.
Rather than add an inline fuse I would like to install the female connector in the junction box so I can utilize the slot ( No.36)
Has anyone here done this?
Thx.

Yes. Click these & read the captions:

If you want specific help, you should fill in your signature here with ALL your truck's details so we know what you're talking about.

But many Ford trucks already have that wiring in-place, even if the truck wasn't sold with that option. So before you go tearing into it, check.

Google "Add a tap". My 2016 has a number of unused fuses, both switched snd unswitched. An add a tap plugs into one of those preserving the original circuit and providing another one.

How different do you think 2017 fuses & block terminals are? Read those captions, and then inspect your truck.
If your truck info isn't IN YOUR SIGNATURE, you'll have to re-type it every time you want to ask a question.

Fuse slot 36 only has the “line” side terminal. The “load” side is missing along with the wire.

Well, if you're not going to look at those pics, I don't understand why you posted your question. I'll let everyone else try.

@Flyforfood took his BJB apart on his 2015 to add a factory fuse, His description was "The fuse block is in three parts. The cover, the block with all the wiring and the bottom tub that bolts to the truck and protects the wiring under the fuse block. Separating the fuse block from the bottom tub is a difficult task. There are 7 clips holding it down to the bottom tub. I used wooden popsicle sticks to hold the clips open while I pulled the fuse panel up and out of the bottom tub."
