ac wont take charge on 2001 S-crew
I attempted to change compressor but the bolts were so rusty that they wouldnt come off so I just replaced the clutch which is the part that went bad. I had the system open for several hours but I vacuumed the system for at least an hour and got a good negative pressure reading. But now the system wont hardly take much r134 before it stops sucking it in. I know that the clutch wont engage until there is enough pressure in the system. Any suggestions?

Get a paper clip and bend it into a "U" shape. Use the paper clip to jump the wire connector that goes to the low pressure switch. This will engage the clutch so you can suck some frig in the system.
