Default Odometer gone wild

When I got in the truck this morning the odometer was not fully displaying all the numbers and as i got down the road it got worse. Most of the numbers started to flicker and displayed digits that make no sense. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

07 4.6L 4x2 STX

Top line is mostly effected, Trip seems fine, but extra characters to the left.

What is it with ford and the odometers with cold solder joints on circuit boards? That is really bad engineering or manufacturing. I need to fix mine on an 04 I just picked up it is intermittent.
