95 model 4.9 5-speed - maintenance questions
Hello - Here's a new owner of a 1995 model 4.9 L 5-speed with 228,000 miles.
Maintenance items that I need to address right off:
1) Valve Cover Gasket Leak - plenum removal and gaskets - any tips for a leak free 4.8 L? should I use RTV in addition to a new gasket>
2) Door Hinge Bushings - I found a kit at the local parts store
3) Shocks - Any suggestions for mostly paved road driving?
4) Steering Stabilizer - will this tighten up the steering?
5) Intake Plenum and Injector Cleaning - any advice?
6) OBD1 reader -- any suggestions?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
