Default $650 to replace tensioner pulley?!?

Does 650 bucks seem right to replace a tensioner pulley on a 2012? The guy at the ford service counter said a lot of things need to be moved to get to it and that's where the cost comes in at.

Seems very expensive to me. Part should be well under $100.

****ty part is I have to get it done because my mom is in the hospital after brain surgery so I can't risk my **** overheating from a broken belt. I'm most likely getting fisted by the guy because I can't see a $100 part needing 5 hours of labor to put in. I know it's down low in the bay but damn. I had a 7 series BMW that costed less than this to fix.

Looking at the engine diagram, it shows 2 bolts holding the tensioner on the engine, 1 bolt holding the pulley on the tensioner, never opened the hood on a TT but $600 sounds like robbery to me.

I have a 4.6 and recently did mine with new Gates parts, belt, tensioner and pulley, all under $100. I undid the fan blades to gain better access to operating the tensioner. Four easy bolts. If yours is that much different shame of Ford.
