2017 Raptor - Dealer WTF?? Timing Chain
 

My 2017 Raptor was making the "cam phazer-timing chain" rattle for a bit then the check engine light cam on and the engine was not running well.
Truck has only 16K miles

Took it in to the dealer -
Been there 3 week.......... They never call...... I have followed up a few times.
I called them again today for a status... it had been an other week -

They said a timing change guide had broke, causing the chain to be loose. This put the valve timing off, causing the check engine light. - base on how the engine was running, the valve timing had to be a ways off - (more than just chain tension.....) I think it throws a code a 9 or 12 degrees off.

I simply do not trust these guys at all.

Anyone have any experience with something like this?
