Default 2017 F150 low fuel economy and reduced power

My 2017 F150 3.5L EB, which I bought used with 47k on it seems to be suffering in fuel economy and power in the last few months. When I first bought it it was getting 17-18 City mpg, but now about 14-15.

When I accelerate, there’s a feeling of resistance and even a bit of a vibration of sorts in the gas pedal around 30-40 mph and 2,000rpm. I recall when I first drove it being thrilled at the power of this thing wherever and whenever I needed it, but now it’s just lagging a bit more.

No check engine light. I don’t have an OBD2 scanner.

I’ve picked up on whiffs of egg smell (sulfur), but not all the time. I’m not yet sure if it’s from my truck or not.

My thought was maybe the catalytic converter is bad, but wanted to throw this out there for advice. I can take it to a dealership, but wondering what basic checks I can/should do on my own.

Take it to a muffler shop and have them check the exhaust and make sure it isn't plugged. If exhaust isn't plugged, put a new set of Motorcraft plugs in it.
