2017 F-150 grinding noise

I took mine into dealer, and they are replacing the transfer case control unit. I hope that is it and not some sensor or mechanical issue causing the 4WD hubs to not fully disengage.

This is exactly what my truck is doing.
After several occurrences I have found, it happens more often when cold and turning has nothing to do with it. Engaging 4WD stops the noise. Warming up the truck before driving does nothing.
Has anyone had this repaired by the dealer and if so, what was the issue?

This sounds different to my ears, but I do have my windows down in my video which makes it sound much louder and quite different. I had no idea how loud it was until i rolled them down.
When it does it, it has always been a cold start, and not made the sound until about 1 mile of driving down my slow road and I pull out into the main street (I noticed it starts with wheels turning as well). However mine seems to do it even in straight driving after that, AND it only does it when hitting the gas pedal, I take foot off gas and it goes away every time. Makes it hard to get anywhere though.

Any opinions if mine could be the same thing or no? Dealership looked at it and thought it was just a rock between brakes and backplate the first time.

Mine did it again today before I took it into dealership. As soon as it made the noise I put it in 4H and as soon as it switched the noise stopped completely. I put it back in 2H and a few mins later it came back, did the same thing and again it went away. I am guessing everyone is right its the front hub mechanism partially engaged.
The only thing that seemed unique to my circumstance is the fact it only ever makes noise when pressing the gas. I never found anyone else that mentioned it. It's cut and dry, as soon as I let go of the gas pedal the noise stops, also now I know as soon as I engage 4WD it stops as well.

Same boat... truck has 5k miles 2017 supercrew 2.7. I honestly didn't notice it until I put on my new wheels and tires and for the last 3 days I had thought the noise was from the tires possibly rubbing the crash bars but I finally was unlazy tonight and checked the tires at all turning radius points and there is no rubbing. I too notice that the noise comes on harder when the wheel is turning and I haven't tried putting in 4x4 to disengage anything (I have yet to even turn 4x4 on yet! It's a 4x4 virgin!) I'll probably give that a shot tomorrow before calling the dealer.
What I have done to negate the noise is once I hear the noise and turn the wheel I put the truck into park and it completely goes away.
I'm also having an idling chirp noise too... super unfortunate. I put 70k miles on my 2015 scab without a hiccup and 5k miles into this 2017 I've had multiple minor issues but issues none the less.

It only made the noise go away when I transferred while moving and it was making the noise.
Otherwise, you could have a different problem. For all I know mine may be the one and only with this exact issue.

They decided to order a vacuum pump today so they need to keep it over the weekend now. Not sure if this was decided after the repairs today because they didn't fix the issue, or maybe they haven't even done those planned repairs yet.

I noticed the same thing happening to my 17 ,3.5 ten speed this morning . Within 2 miles from start. Would start with acceleration and stop if I let off the gas. 11000 miles.
Grrrrr!!!!

After about a week without my truck I got it back last night. They replaced a bunch of parts so hopefully its fixed. I'll never know exactly which part was causing it, and there's always a chance it can come back.

It happened again this morning, approximately 1.5 miles from start. I have it recorded but having issues downloading it. It sounds like a gear trying to engage but not meshing and think it's in the transfer case. Defiantly louder with acceleration. Any advise on downloading appreciated.
